Dr. Sarah Moller
Dr Sarah Moller is an atmospheric chemist researching air pollution and science policy. She is the National Centre for Atmospheric Science Air Pollution Theme Leader and holds a NERC Knowledge Exchange Fellowship, aiming to support, inform, and shape the implementation of Government air pollution strategy. She is a graduate of the University of York, with both an MChem and PhD from the Department of Chemistry, where she is now an independent research fellow (assistant professor).
Sarah has worked at the interface between research and policy for the past 6 years. Her work has focused on building partnerships and developing mechanisms for genuine knowledge exchange between academia, research councils, and policymakers. Sarah is a member of the Government Department for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs (Defra) Air Quality Expert Group and leads a long term Defra contract identifying opportunities for and driving engagement in co-design of research and policy.
