Paul is responsible for the management and delivery the Institute of Physics Outreach and Engagement program in Yorkshire and North East, and supporting members in the region. Before joining the IOP Paul was working on his Ph.D thesis on experimental investigations into high temperature superconducting wires for use in fusion reactors at Durham University as part of the Fusion Centre for Doctoral Training based here at York University. He still dabbles in research from time to time.
