Abbie Lumley graduated from the University of Northampton with a BA Joint (Hons) Degree in Web Design with Management in 2016, and from the University of Newcastle with an MSc in Computer Science in 2018.

Abbie joined the Norton Rose Fulbright Newcastle Hub straight after her MSc in September 2018 as their first Junior Web Developer. In this role, Abbie works alongside Jeremy and Craig to deliver high-quality legal processes through the use of innovative technology. This involves thorough testing of several platforms to ensure they can be used to provide efficient, high-quality solutions to existing obstacles within the legal sector. The innovation team also works closely with the other offices in the firm by piloting many new technologies before deciding whether to use these in the wider firm.

Prior to technology, Abbie was always interested in mathematics and took A-Levels in Accounting, Mathematics, Business, IT, and French. However, after studying these for 2 years, Abbie decided she much preferred technology and diverted her learning to aid her in a career as such.
